Hawaiian Pizza Bagels Servings: 6 to 8 pizza bagels
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
You will need
• 3–4 plain bagels, sliced in half
• ¾ cup pizza sauce
• 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• ½ cup ham, cut into small pieces
• ½ cup canned pineapple chunks, drained well
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• ½ teaspoon dried parsley
To begin, preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the pineapple dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Set aside.
Place bagels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Melt the butter. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the dried parsley.
Brush the cut sides of the bagels with the butter mixture.
Spread about 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each bagel half.
Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Add ham and pineapple evenly on top, then finish with a little more cheese.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Tips and tricks! • Freshly shredded mozzarella melts smoother and gives the best texture.
• Make sure the pineapple is as dry as possible to prevent soggy bagels.
• For extra crispiness, toast the bagels for 2–3 minutes before adding toppings.
• Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350°F until warmed through to keep them crispy (avoid microwaving if possible).
