How to make Maple Butter Chicken Bacon Sliders

These Maple Butter Chicken & Bacon Sliders are the perfect bite size meal or party appetizer. Soft King’s Hawaiian rolls are layered with juicy chopped chicken, crispy bacon, and melty Gouda, then brushed generously with a rich maple butter glaze.

Maple Butter Chicken Bacon Sliders serve: 6

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes 


You will need

• 1 12 count King's Hawaiian rolls

• 5 tbsp of butter (melted)

• 1/4 cup of maple syrup

• 8 cooked chicken strips (chopped)

• 10 slices of microwave bacon

• 5 slices of Gouda cheese



Preheat the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Leave the rolls connected and place on the baking sheet. 


Taking a bread knife, cut the rolls horizontally. Set the top half aside. Mix the melted butter and maple syrup together and brush some of it on the bottom half of the rolls. 


Add the chicken pieces on top.


Then add a layer of bacon.


Then layer the cheese. 


Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush the tops of the rolls with the maple butter. 


Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. 


Cut the rolls out one by one. Serve and enjoy! 



Tips and tricks!


• Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.


• You can also use shredded chicken for this instead of breaded chicken strips.


• You can use real bacon for this instead of microwaveable.


• Make sure to chop the chicken finely.
